Target Winning is a feature on the Betslip that shows the estimated amount a certain ticket can win based on the Bet Type selected and stake amount wagered.
NOTE: This is primarily a minimum payout estimate based on the standard odds of the game. If more numbers are matched, the actual winning could be higher.
You can check your ticket in the Ticket Verification tab. Simply click on Ticket Verification, type in the TSN number of your ticket, and click Check Now.
Your winnings are automatically claimed when the draw is concluded and winnings are credited into the available balance in your wallet
Current Balance is the amount you have available when you make a purchase using the Deposit button. Available Balance is the amount you have available that you can withdraw; it is accumulated based on winnings. This means that you cannot withdraw the Current Balance but you can withdraw the Available Balance. It also means that whatever deposit you make is nonrefundable.
You can check the winning numbers in one of two places: the home page or the Previous Results tab. The home page provides you with the most recent result followed by the next 4 results drawn in reverse chronological order. Alternatively, you can click on Previous Results and see all the results listed and also have the option of choosing the dates you want.
4. Game Rules & Definitions:
Derby Lotto is offering the 5/90 Lotto game. It gives the user an opportunity to select his or her lucky numbers from 90 numbers in either the category of Winning (WIN), Machine (MAC) or Winning and Machine (WIN&MAC). The result of the game consists of 5 numbers as winning and 5 numbers as machine. If a customer plays WIN, that means he or she wants his selection to show up in the 5 numbers drawn as winning numbers. If he plays MAC, that means he wants his or her selection to show up in the machine numbers. If he or she plays WIN&MAC, it means double is paid for the ticket but the amount staked would win if the selection falls in EITHER the Winning 5 numbers or the Machine 5 numbers. (Note: one per side doesnt win)
The bet types made available by Derby Lotto are Nap, Permutation, Banker, Against, Turbo and Xtra.
Direct means whatever the customer selects must be matched with no exception. The customer pays the cost of the ticket desired and the winning is calculated by multiplying the amount staked by the following odds:
Nap 1 means the customer selects 1 number but note that to win, that number must show as the first number (first position) drawn. Winning calculated = amount staked x 40.
Nap 2 means the customer selects 2 numbers and both must be matched. Winning calculated = amount staked x 240.
Nap 3 means the customer selects 3 numbers and all must be matched. Winning calculated = amount staked x 2100.
Nap 4 means the customer selects 4 numbers and all must be matched. Winning calculated = amount staked x 6000.
Nap 5 means the customer selects 5 numbers and all must be matched. Winning calculated = amount staked x 44,000.
Permutation means the customer may select from a larger pool of numbers and can designate how many he or she wants to match within that pool. For instance, the user can play perm 2 from 4 meaning he or she selects 4 numbers but 2 matched are enough to win. The odds are the same as the naps above but the ticket cost more depending on the number of lines associated.
For example, Perm 2 from 4 is 6 lines so at 100 Naira, the ticket costs 600 Naira but wins 100x240=24,000 Naira if 2 numbers are matched. If more than 2 numbers are matched, the winning increases in line with the lineages in the chart as well.
(B2) Banker (against all) means the customer can designate one number and as long as it enters, he or she wins. The cost is equal to the stake amount x 89. The winning is calculated based on how many numbers are matched alongside the banker number which in this case would be x960. B3 (against all) would mean 2 banker and cost is x88. Winning odds for Banker games are calculated by lineage and fixed as in nap2, nap 3, nap 4, and nap5.
Against means the customer can choose as many numbers he or she wants on one side AGAINST as many numbers he or she wants on the other side. In order to win, the user must match at least 1 on the first side and 1 on the other side. The cost is equal to the number of selected options on the top side x the number of selected on the bottom side x the stake amount.
For example: if the customer selects 1 3 5 against 12 15 89 it will be 3x3=9 lines. If stake is at 100 naira then total cost is 900 Naira. Winning will be 100 Naira x 240 = N24,000. If more than one number is matched per side then the lineage calculation (in line with lineage chart) kicks in.
Turbo means the customer can designate to play on the sequential order drawn of the 5 number results.
Turbo 2 means the customer targets the first two numbers drawn. The odd is 2400 to 1 Naira.
Turbo 3 means the customer targets the first three numbers drawn. The odd is 800 to 1 Naira.
Turbo 4 means the customer targets the first four numbers drawn. The odd is 400 to 1 Naira.
Turbo 5 means the customer targets the first five numbers drawn. The odd is 240 to 1 Naira. This is basically the same as the regular NAP 2.
Turbo ALL means the customer pays for all the aforementioned above (x4) and depending on what order the numbers are drawn in, the winning would be paid in the corresponding category.
For example, if Turbo All is selected with 2 numbers and the 2 numbers are sequentially drawn first and second in the five number result, then the odd is paid as turbo 5 plus turbo 4 plus turbo 3 plus turbo 2.
Xtra means that the customer plays Nap 2 and Perm 2 but instead of the result being on the five result numbers in winning or in machine, the result combines the winning plus machine results. The number of results is designated by the figure after the Xtra and is determined by the sequential order of winning then machine numbers drawn. The formulation and odds are as follows:
Xtra 5: the first five winning numbers only/ Odd: 240:1 (same as Nap2 or Perm2)
Xtra 6: the first five winning numbers and the first machine number/ Odd: 160:1
Xtra 7: the first five winning numbers and the first two machine numbers/ Odd: 120:1
Xtra 8: the first five winning numbers and the first three machine numbers/ Odd: 80:1
Xtra 9: the first five winning numbers and the first four machine numbers/ Odd: 60:1
Xtra 10: the first five winning numbers and the five machine numbers/ Odd: 40:1
For example: if the user selects X10 and selects 01 09 for N100, it would cost him N100. If the Winning result is 01 02 03 04 05 and Machine result is 06 07 08 09 10, the customer would win N100x40 = N400 having matched 2 numbers in the total 10 numbers.

7. Technical Issues:
Sometimes a break in internet connectivity can cause a purchase to not go through. If you click purchase on your cart and the ticket confirmation page with your ticket TSN number doesn't come through, don't panic. First go to Bet History under Account and check if the ticket is there. If it is, then the ticket went through and you can see the summary of what you played. If it isn't, then the game didn't go through and just double check by making sure that your Current Balance is unaffected. When confirmed, feel free to repurchase your ticket again.
Unfortunately we do not accept cancellations of tickets purchased. Thus, please make sure you cross check the cart to be sure of your game before clicking purchase.
Unfortunately due to banking network issues, this might be the case sometimes. Please refer to Account Summary under Account to confirm the status of your Deposit. Follow these steps in order to troubleshoot:
1. The first thing to do is to make sure that you received a Success message on your transaction. If the transaction wasn't a success then you need to contact your bank service provider although usually transactions would reverse within 24 hours.
2. If the message received was successful then it is recommended to wait a bit as transactions by the payment gateways can take sometimes minutes to hours to reflect.
3. If eventually the wallet never credits and the message under Account Summary is Success, then please send us a WhatsApp to 09133344333, write us on the chatbot, or email us at [email protected] and we will assist you to make sure your money doesn't get lost.
This is also an unfortunate consequence of banking network issues sometimes but don't panic either. You can also refer to Account Summary under Account to confirm the status of your withdrawal here.
1. First of all, make sure that your withdraw process was successful. If it wasn't then you need to try again.
2. If it was successful and the money doesn't credit immediately then please be patient. Transactions can take minutes to hours sometimes due to payment gateway network.
3. If for some reason the money never credits into your account and you have verified from the Account Summary that it was a successful withdrawal and your wallet Available Balance has been deducted, then please send us a WhatsApp to 09133344333, write on on the chatbot, or send us an email to [email protected] and we will be sure to help.
The first thing you should do is verify that the ticket is actually a winning ticket by putting your TSN number in the Ticket Verification tab. If the message is that it isn't a winning ticket, then cross check the information on your ticket making sure that the Draw, Bet Type, result category and numbers selected actually match the result for that particular draw. If you are still convinced that the ticket should be a winning ticket, kindly reach out to us and we will assist. Equally, if Ticket Verification tells you that it is a winning ticket then it will automatically be credited into your wallet.
Derby Lotto has designed the wallet in a way where the customer can only withdraw the Available Balance. This design is to comply with Nigerian AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Policy preventing unlawful crediting and withdrawing of money. It means that Deposits made are non-refundable and only winnings are available to be withdrawn.
